Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of samzar.com (the "Site"), operated by SAMZAR SARL, a limited liability company registered in Fez, Morocco (registered office: Rue 6 N° 71, Av Saint Louis, Hay Saada 2, 1er étage, Fez; share capital 50,000 MAD; Registre de Commerce no. 1470). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
1. About SamZar
SamZar makes practical, upcycled textile goods by hand in Fez, Morocco, and shares craft and waste-reduction content. The Site is an information and catalogue site: it displays our products and content, and lets people enquire and make community submissions. We do not sell or take payment on the Site; product enquiries and orders are arranged directly with us (for example, by WhatsApp or email).
2. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site lawfully, and not to misuse it, disrupt it, or try to access it improperly. The Site is not directed at children under 13 (or the local age of digital consent).
3. Products, prices and enquiries
Prices shown are recommended retail prices (in Moroccan dirham) and are indicative; they may change and may differ for custom or wholesale orders. Showing a product is an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer to sell — any sale is agreed separately, directly with us. Our items are handmade, so colours and details vary from piece to piece.
4. Community submissions
When you submit an event, craft video, or news / story through our form, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate and you have the right to share it;
- you own, or have permission to share, any content you submit (including video links, photos and text), and it does not infringe anyone's rights;
- the content is lawful and not offensive, misleading or harmful.
By submitting, you give SamZar permission to publish, display, edit (for length, clarity or suitability) and remove your submission, on the Site and SamZar's channels. We review submissions and may decline or remove any of them at our discretion. We are not responsible for content submitted by others.
5. Prohibited content
Do not submit content that infringes others' rights; contains hate speech, harassment, violence or discrimination; is dangerous, misleading or unlawful; or contains spam, scams or third-party advertising.
6. Intellectual property
The SamZar name, logo, designs, photographs, text and branding (including the "Octopus" waste-separation concept) are owned by or licensed to SAMZAR SARL. You may not copy or use them without our permission. You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to the permission you grant in section 4.
7. Links and embeds
The Site links to and embeds third-party content (for example YouTube/Vimeo videos, maps and social media). We are not responsible for third-party sites or their content.
8. Content is informational
Craft, repair and waste-reduction content on the Site is general information. We do not guarantee outcomes or the safety of any technique; follow local safety guidance and use your own judgement.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, SamZar is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for your use of the Site, its content, or items you make. If you are unhappy with the Site, your main remedy is to stop using it.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and disputes are subject to the courts of Fez.
